This ad campaign originated with the need to help our fellow American neighbors who were struck by three hurricanes causing widespread destruction and flooding. The tagline "Remember U.S." was a call to action to remember that the victims are "us" - Texas, Florida, and Puerto Rico. Often when widespread destruction hits, there is an initial appeal and much generosity. However it is important to remember that building will go on for years after these hurricanes. The hurricanes were personified by using their names - Irma, Harvey, and Maria as if they were friends and family from whom we are asking for aid.
